Nectarios Koziris, Adjunct Researcher at IMSI, is a Professor of Computer Science at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests include architecture of high performance and large scale systems, architectures and system software for distributed systems, peer-to-peer systems and grids, distributed storage systems architecture, communication architectures for clusters, network interconnects, multiprocessor systems, code parallelization and optimization, parallel systems architectures. He has co-authored two textbooks, four chapters in international editions and published more than 90 papers in leading journals and conferences and has served as chair/member in the program committees of leading conferences of IEEE and ACM concerning parallel and distributed systems.
