Dimitra – Nefeli makri has been a member of the Digital Curation Unit (MO.PS.E.) / Research Center "Athena" in research programs. She graduated in 2010 from the Department of Applied Informatics, University of Macedonia, and in February 2013 she completed her postgraduate studies in Information Systems οf Athens University of Economics and Business. Her master's thesis entitled "Development of data registries" under the supervision of Professor Panos Constantopoulos, prompted her further to her involvement with the digital curation of collections and objects.

In DCU, the current time she has undertaken activities and tasks for the organization and management of metadata and digital objects.
