Dimitris Sacharidis is a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) and at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He received his BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2001, and his MSc in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2004. In 2008 he obtained the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA under the supervision of Prof. T. Sellis. During 2008-2009, he was a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Technology in the University of Peloponnese. His research interests include data streams, privacy, security, preferences and ranking in data management applications.
